Finding and Activating for Wealth and Happiness

There is no doubt that without love and happiness in our lives, there is no wealth. Only when we have good relationships and harmonious feelings with our friends, family, spouses and partners, do we feel our happiest. It’s this happiness in our relationships with others that creates contentedness with life, ability to move smoothly up the ladder of success — and often means that we are rewarded financially and emotionally for that harmony. To be sure, feng shui for relationships runs neck and neck with interest in feng shui for wealth. That’s probably because just like having no money feels terrible, having no love is isolating and feels awful too. One of the most beneficial ways to use the wealth of mountain star energies is to create wealth. By activating earth energies appropriately, you can create smooth relationships that foster networking, such as in business or in your career, or have others bring opportunities to you because of the regard and esteem they have for you. This mean...

10 Feng Shui Wealth-Producing Tips for Handbags

It's an indispensable tool, a valuable fashion asset and a source of all manner of important things like breath mints, a safety pin to fix a broken zipper, or keys to entertain a toddler. A woman's purse is a collector of things - and sometimes those things are downright unhealthful. According to recent studies, a woman's purse ranks as one of the top ten germiest items we come in contact with on a regular basis. Ironically, a woman's handbag is also the place where she carries her wealth and financial power. Is your purse a symbol of wealth or is it a danger to your health? Maybe it's a little of both. Interestingly, for women, a purse is often a symbol of the self. An attractive, organized purse makes us feel better and more in control of our lives. When our purse is a mess and we can't find anything, we feel lost and our bank accounts often reflect that scattered state. Simply put, a purse with good feng shui is a purse that is organized, a handy resource, an...

Feng Shui For Vision Boards

A vision board is a powerful way to visually represent the aspirations and goals you have for your life with images. The images can either be pictures of what you would like, a house where you’d like to live, a car you’d like to drive, or can be a title you aspire to, such as writer, actor, or president. People respond well to images. They inspire us in ways that words don’t. Combining a goals list with a vision board is especially powerful. In feng shui, when compass feng shui, flying star or another type of feng shui merge together, this is called “compounding” feng shui. The feng shui then, because it’s multiplied, becomes more potent. The simple act of writing out your goals is powerful and then to compound it with a vision board makes it more powerful still. Add feng shui to the equation and you have a vision board that can propel you to a whole new place in life. Are you ready for that? I mean, really, ready? Many people say they want something new, but new can be scary. Jus...

How can I keep the water energy in my home

Question: I love having a fountain at the front of my house but as the winter closes in, the fountain will freeze. How can I keep the water energy in my home going, and where should I have water? Answer: That's a great question. Obviously, if you live in a cold area that freezes fountains solid, it's hard to have water running. I recommend that you place water wherever the 1 star of opportunity and victory over the competition resides. In 2014 that area is the southwest. In 2015, the east will host the 1 star, so place a fountain in your home in the east corner or if that's a bedroom or bathroom, place it in the east corner of the living room instead. By the way, the 1 star is VERY happy in the east this year! It's great to activate opportunities for growth, for your family, and for health.

The Feng Shui Symbol of Material Comforts and Success

In feng shui, the ideal position for a house embodies what’s called the “armchair” position. This position has a rise at the rear of the house, and the left or east side of the house is higher than the right side of the house, as you are looking out from the front of the house. Many feng shui devotees know about the importance of the supportive cosmic tortoise that is represented by the rise at the rear of the house. This rise gives support, like the back of a chair, so that the residents have opportunity in their lives. But one of the areas of the home and your environmental feng shui that’s often missed is the position of the phoenix. And it’s this position and portion in the landscape that creates the relaxation that comes from having enough money, prestige and success – and why it’s so important to activate! The phoenix is the fabled bird that can burn and then regenerate from its ashes. It symbolizes success and the ability to rise again after difficulties. But in feng shui, the p...

Foster Family Harmony with Feng Shui

Image
Feng shui is used in the west to create more opportunity, success and wealth. But in the East, feng shui is used for all that and to create harmonious relationships, too. Feng shui is a terrific tool for improving family relationships. As anyone who has had strife and struggle at home can tell you, a harmonious home is truly a blessing. Creating a harmonious and pleasant home is a bonus to all who reside there. Use these tips to create a home that’s aligned for harmony and good fortune for the whole family. Ensure family harmony with a vase. The southwest is the sector of the woman or mother of the house. This corner of the home is regarded as the corner where all the good family luck resides. Think of it this way, when the mother is happy, the family is too. Add a large ceramic urn or vase to symbolize the mother and place in this corner to collect beneficial energy. Make sure the vase is left empty to collect chi. If your SW corner has a garage or bathroom, which can cause un...
